。 眾所周知，互聯網又被稱為資訊高速公路，是當今世界經濟的龍頭產業。各國無不註以重資，扶持發展。而黃琦作為一個民營企業家，自籌資金，創辦尋人網站，服務社會，受到各方好評。但卻僅僅因為網站論壇出現有關政治思想的文章被中共當局控以“煽動顛覆國家政權罪”、關閉網站，實在是對江澤民所謂“三個代表”中中共要代表先進社會生產力的絕妙諷刺。中共當局逮捕、起訴黃琦一案無疑給想回國投資、創業的海外華人和學子敲響了警鐘：這個一意維護一黨之私的獨裁政權才是中國經濟發展的最大障礙、投資環境中最具風險的因素。而江澤民的所謂“三個代表”只不過是中共的又一個欺世謊言罷了。

IFCSS Statement on the trial of Mr. Huang Qi,founder of Tianwang Missing Persons
After detaining Mr. Huang Qi, founder and owner of the web site "June4 Tianwang Missing Persons" for over two hundred and fifty days, theChinese government finally started a court trial of Huang Qi with thecharge of "instigation to subvert state power." The trial wassuspended during the first day of court hearing because Huang Qicollapsed in the courtroom due to his poor health resulting frommonths of enduring tormenting jail conditions during his detention.According to the disclosure of the staff of Chengdu IntermediatePeople"s Court to the Western media, the case will be reported tohigher authorities, and the result of the trial will not be madepublic until receiving their instructions.
The Independent Federation of Chinese Students and Scholars (IFCSS)hereby appeal to the international community to mount pressure onthe hinese authorities for the immediate release of Huang Qi, andfor oviding him with medical treatment. IFCSS also hopes that theoverseas Chinese community will extend financial support to HuangQi and his family, helping them out of their current financialcatastrophe.
